The nursery at a church has new construction that is not safe for little ones. There is a bunk and wood construction that small heads can get caught in and they can strangle themselves. Along with other major issues It was reported to the administration of the church in hopes that it would be corrected but after a month nothing was done. The state doe not seem to be able to do anything inside a church.

What? Code enforcement and building codes apply to churches as well as every other building in your town.
Call the town and ask for a building inspection.

No, unfortunately, something horrible would have to happen to the little one before you could do something civilly. It seems Church’s could basically do what they want as long as it is legal. You probably need a lawsuit to get them to comply. Church’s seem to have a ‘well if aint broke, dont fix it’ philosophy.
